CHRIST MERCY CITY DELIVERANCE MINISTRY, WARRI DELTA STATE NIGERIA (Arena of Solution and Power)
Christ Mercy City formerly MercyLand Deliverance Ministry usually called Mercy City is located in Warri, Delta State Nigeria. Warri is situated at the South-South of Nigeria. Mercy City was established on 3 April, 2010 by Prophet JERIMAIAH OMOTO FUFEYIN who is its General Overseer/Head Prophet.
One can liken Mercy City to Jerusalem where pilgrims travel to pray and worship God. Mercy City is vast in weight and length which can accommodate millions of worshippers within. At the far right are beautiful sculpted white angels stepping on Satan.

Mercy City comprises of Hostel accommodations, Hotel Lodge, Restaurant, Supermarket, Mercy TV and Shops were the spiritual items are sold such as Anointing Oil, Door Stickers, books, Holy Water etc. All these items are paid for in cash only.
From the entrance of Mercy City to the Mountain (not an actual mountain as you expected lol) where some important activities of the church are also held, the church itself is standing in-between. It is not as large as one would envision and it is usually filled with worshippers causing those who didn’t go earlier than the actual church service time to worship from alternative buildings on both sides of the church. In otherwords, if you don’t go earlier even before the door of the church is opened you may not have a seat inside the church. Aha! You heard me.

At the entrance of Mercy City, outside the gate a very small building configured with staircase with water running round through its edges and having blinking lights stands on the left from outside and on the right from inside. This building as I was told severally in various visits has healing power, or better put this way, the water from this building if applied faith can heal a sickened or sickly as it has already done overtime. Is this a proof that anything is possible when you believe, just as the bible rightly says? All you have to do to get your healing is just BELIEVE! And this is applicable ANYWHERE and in WHATSOEVER, however for GOOD DEEDS ONLY!

Security Operatives are usually at their Duty Post at the gate scrutinizing every visitor before entry. There are commercial tricycles from the gate to wherever location inside Mercy City except for the Mountain which these tricycles can’t access because of the beautiful metal bridge that leads to the mountain but an obstruction to tricycles’ passage because of its configuration and height.

The mountain is further away from the church. It is within Mercy City yet in its forest so to say. The mountain is an open space in the forest with the use of chairs for sitting and canopies over worshippers. Some important church activities take place here and those who are Mercy City Partners (non-members and members) are most freely allowed to go to the mountain even on normal days to pray. Other times, non-partners are not allowed to enter because that particular event is meant only for the partners. In otherwords, become a partner and you enjoy ALL BENEFITS! It is also part of supporting God’s work if you ask me.

Aha! Lest I forget, there’s also the POOL OF BETHESDA. This pool of Bethesda is an open space similar to the Mountain however; Pool of Bethesda is properly decorated with artificial green grass floor, sculpted Angels, tiled pool which has beautiful staircase and handrail, canopies and chairs, at the left end from the entrance but right from exit are two giant rocks at a corner meant for private prayers only. Some worshippers drop their written prayers or other items which serves as a medium (point of contact in ministerial language) to their loved ones or desire on these rocks and pray beside them. There is an offering box there too that one can redeem a vow, sow a seed (ministerial language) or Thanksgiving offering after praying.

From the pool, water are measured into a small white rubber (sold for 2k) for whoever needs and this water according to faith works wonders just as in the actual pool of Bethesda where Jesus healed the man of 38 years illness, yes, you heard me correctly! Whooping thirty eight years, jeez! Are you kidding me? What was he doing all these thirty eight years, he couldn’t crawl into the pool? Jeez!

Did I tell you the beautiful metal bridge I talked about earlier is the route to the Pool of Bethesda? And under this bridge there’s a fresh water stream of fish anyone can freely feed (that’s if you came along with some fish food lol) as you walk across to the Pool of Bethesda? Did I also tell you that on the left of this bridge while going but on the right while returning is a BLUE GLASS building standing on the stream?! Jeez! You should see it yourself.

Some people condemn the pace at which miracles happen through Prophet Jerimiah Omoto Fufeyin in Mercy City because according to them such miracles can’t come from God. Excuse me? Seriously, are you kidding me? Well, the bible recorded that Jesus turned water into wine at Galilee, that was an instant miracle, He raised Lazaurus from death, that was an instant miracle. The bible also says in the book of John 14: 12-14 that GREATER WORKS than he (Jesus) did would his disciples do when he is gone! Aha!

I am beginning to sound religiously fanatically lol. Excuse me, I’m outta here!

ONIRU BEACH, LAGOS NIGERIA
EVER BEEN TO ONIRU BEACH? YOU BETTER BE THERE!

Oniru beach is owned by Oniru royal family. It is a beautiful large beach that can simultaneously contain thousands of visitors. Though it is a private beach, it is meant for all (except criminals, don’t get me wrong lol). I can say it is a good sightseeing and relaxation place for anyone. There is also Moist Restaurant and Beach nightclub situated on the beach which I think is also part of the beach’s services. Oniru beach is located at No.1 Ligali Ayorinde Street, Eti-Osa 106104, Lagos and close to Ozumba Mbadiwe Highway that is consisting of multinational corporations and hotels. There is proper packing reserve outside the entrance and on the beach. Packing space cost 500 naira.
One can walk a little distance from Oniru beach to Civic Center, Oriental Hotel, Zenith Bank Headquarters etc. Seats (a bamboo table & two benches) at Oniru beach ranges from 6,000 naira to 10,000 (I think it’s quite expensive but it’s worth the fun though) and snacks/meals are expensive too. If you can’t afford it, you can go along with your mat or whatever that is convenient for your use on the sandy floor and you can also go along with your snacks/meals, yah!

Gate fee into Oniru beach cost 1,000 per person. Activities on the beach are dusk till dawn. This means you can visit the beach at night and have fun till morning or you can visit in the morning and have fun till morning. How exciting! I visited previously with mom, i can’t wait to visit again with some friends and this time it’s gonna be a bomb! Lol (I meant that). Oniru beach is damn too good for picnics!
I suggest you far pre-plan before you visit if you must have good fun at Oniru beach!
I’m outta here!
DARED TO PLUCK A COCONUT
Very tempting and pretty yellowish they all stood
As I watched from my doorpost where I sat
How can I pluck one absent Mrs E’s knowledge?
Plucking is prohibited
Only unless you dared!
Up, up I stoned a bunch
Utterly my stone returned as if in anger
The battle is not over yet, I smiled
Until I am blessed with one
Up, up again I stoned
My stone returned almost crushing me
The battle is not over yet, I laughed
Until I am blessed with one
Aha! I’ve got you, I danced
As a giant one fell
By the use of a longish stick
Still conscious of Mrs E’s absence
Hurriedly, I peeled it
And next it was ready for serve
Hurriedly, I drank its juice like a thirsty leech
First, to quench my thirst
Mama is on her way, the maid said
I still wonder in my confused state
How I kept clean of my crime
When Mrs E arrived
What I remembered though
Is the uncontrollable laughter of the maid
During my tidying

AMAOPUSENIBO CAPTAIN (Rtd) PHD. SOWARIBI VICTOR TOLOFARI
(Popularly known as Captain Tolofari)
Captain Tolofari was born on 1 January, 1956 in his village Kalaibiama in Bonny Kingdom, Rivers State Nigeria. While in the womb he could not be delivered as his mother went into labor through the night of 31st December 1955 up to the early hours of 1st January 1956. There was a prophetess named Madam WARIDIBO FILA who also was number one traditional birth attendant then who instructed Captain Tolofari while in the womb to “come down” immediately after morning service of that 1st day of January 1956 when she must have returned from church of the New Year’s Eve. Precisely and surprisingly that was how his birth happened. He laid on the floor neither cried nor shook and everyone present was asking whether he was alive, then the prophetess like an order said to him, “you must indicate you are alive before you leave the floor” thereafter, 2 hours later he was a lively baby boy. There have never been a similar birth in the annals of births in Kalaibiama and was greeted with euphoria in the absence of any medical explanation. Thereafter, the joy and happiness which erupted ended up in a rally among TOLOFARI and POLLYN Houses’ Women. This made Madam OWUTA FILA his grandmother’s elder sister to nickname him ‘AMAFIEMABO’ meaning COMMUNITY ROUSER which later changed to SEFIAMABO meaning NATION ROUSER after the Military coup of 22nd April, 1990.

As a growing up kid, Captain Tolofari was friendly and respectful and this resulted to him to becoming friends with some soldiers who stationed at Kalaibiama in 1967 when he was 10 years old and helping them ran some errands. A particular soldier insisted to take Captain Tolofari along with him according to him to go train him because he was brilliant and intelligent, his grandmother seeing the persuasion of the soldier which seemingly would become force hid him and this got the soldier so angry after unsuccessfully searching for him roundabout including at school confronted his grandmother accusing her of hiding him this resulted the rising up of the entire Kalaibiama to say “NO”. However, this still didn’t stop the soldier from his intention as he told the next batch of soldiers about Captain Tolofari.
Captain Tolofari attended St Thomas Christ Army Church (CAC) Primary School at Kalaibiama and then ended up at Bonny Government School, Bonny (1969). He later enrolled in the then elitist Government Comprehensive Secondary School, Borikiri Port Harcourt (1970 -1974). He obtained Diploma in BUSINESS ADMIN, at College of Science and Technology (CST), Rivers State in March, 1978. He later obtained Higher National Diploma (HND) at distinction level, in Business Administration (Marketing) on 19th June, 1980.
While in College of Science and Technology (CST), Captain Tolofari participated actively in campus politics. He was the Secretary-General, CST’S Students Government and Assistant Secretary-General of NUNS (National Union of Nigerian Students). The CST’s Authority one time disqualified his standing as Presidential candidate by rusticating him for one academic session .The Authority ‘s grouse was that he established a newsletter called THE BROOM which promised to sweep to the open, and did swept /dug out ‘rots’ that were going on in the institution. The Broom became a nightmare not only to the academic staff but also to the Administrative staff who engaged in shady activities. The publication was proscribed.

After graduation in College of Science and Technology (CST), Captain Tolofari did not get employed for about 2 years, then decided to make a career in the Nigerian Army through Courses at the NDA and became a Military Police officer in the Provost Battalion, Army Head Quarters, Lagos, after graduating from the NDA. He passed with top grades, receiving an award of “Officers’ Commission”. His dedication and intelligence he demonstrated enabled him several positions within the said Battalion, one of which was ADJUCTANT. lt was in this place he worked till he retired attaining Captain’s Rank. He later attended and successfully concluded the course for promotion to the Rank of Major but had not been decorated before the coup/Revolution of 22nd April, 1990.
Thereafter, he obtained MBA (Master of Business Administration) in University of Hull, Greenwich School of Management, England in May, 2000, MPHIL (Master of Philosophy) on 1st December, 2005 and Ph.D (Doctor of Philosophy) on 3rd December, 2008 at the University of Glasgow in Scotland. These were beside lesser certificates and Diplomas he obtained later in life.
To be continued…
